DADE CITY – Filthy Fornication Films has reached an agreement to purchase the vacant Pasco Motors car dealership, a fixture in downtown Dade City, with plans to turn the showroom into Pasco County’s first and only adult entertainment film studio.
In a press conference early last week, FFF CEO Chaz Waters announced that no date had been set for the renovation and that little has changed at the dealership on Seventh Street. We caught up with several Dade City citizens to hear their take on this shocking event.
“Hell yeah, that’s badass,” said Jeff Franklin of Trilby. ‘Hopefully they’re holding auditions. I’ve been lookin’ for a way to make some money with my god given talents in the sack.”
Franklin certainly isn’t the only one excited about the purchase. De’Quandre Jenkins-Jefferson also had great things to say about the new studio
“Shit, you serious bruh? Damn I gotta tell all my boys, they ain’t gonna believe this, man. I’ma hafta get down there and show out for the camera, man. The whole world gotta see what De’Quandre can do with the pipe.”
While many residents see the transformation of the car dealership as great news for the community, not everyone believes that pornography has a place in downtown Dade City. Jillian Brown, lifelong Dade City resident and self-proclaimed feminist, spoke out against Waters’ plans for the studio.
“I am deeply saddened by this recent news. This is an absolute outrage and I still can’t believe this is happening. This has to be the seventh or eighth most disappointing thing in the history of Dade City, behind things like the demolition of the movie theater and the closing of The Quaker.”
Both excitement and outrage will ensue as a result of the recent news, but one Dade City Official, Walter Perryman, remains optimistic.
“This new agreement should help create jobs and stimulate the stagnant Dade City economy. It doesn’t matter whether you’re plowing field or plowing muff; a job is a job, and that can’t be undervalued.”
